Darrel V. Stockinger, 73, of Cedar Hill was seriously hurt in a motorcycle accident about 6:25 p.m. Sunday (Aug. 18) off Hwy. B in Dittmer, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reports.
Stockinger was riding a 1996 home-made motorcycle east on a private drive along Hwy. B and lost control of the bike, which struck a retaining wall, the report said.
He was taken by helicopter to Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, according to the report.
However, the hospital had no information about him, a hospital spokeswoman said.
Stockinger was wearing a helmet, the patrol reported.
