Coty H. Rowan, 32, of Cedar Hill was seriously injured Thursday evening (May 20) in a motorcycle wreck on Hillsboro-House Springs Road south of St. John’s Lane north of Hillsboro, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 7:35 p.m., Rowan was riding a 2005 Kawasaki VN2000-A south on Hillsboro-House Springs Road and struck an unknown object on the road before running off the right side of the road, where the motorcycle overturned, ejecting him. Then, the bike struck a ditch, the report said.
Rowan was taken by Big River Ambulance to Mercy Hospital South in south St. Louis County, where he was listed in satisfactory condition Friday afternoon (May 21), a hospital spokesman said.
He was not wearing a helmet, the patrol reported.
The motorcycle was extensively damaged, the report said.
