Tamera J. Ludwig, 58, of Byrnes Mill was injured Tuesday afternoon (Aug. 25) in a two-vehicle accident at Hwy. PP and Byrnes Mill Road north of Byrnes Mill, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 1:40 p.m., Ludwig was driving a 2014 Ford Taurus east on the highway, and while she was turning right onto Byrnes Mill Road, Lonnie R. Davidson, 59, of High Ridge, in a westbound 2018 Chevrolet Silverado pickup, drove into the path of the Taurus, and the pickup struck the right side of the car, the report said.
No injuries were reported for Davidson.
However, Ludwig was moderately injured and taken by ambulance to Mercy Hospital South in south St. Louis County, where she was treated and released, a hospital spokesman said.
Ludwig was wearing a seat belt, and Davidson was not wearing one, the patrol reported.
The two vehicles were totaled, the report said.
