Christian Coryea, 29, of Byrnes Mill was seriously injured Friday night (July 16) in a motorcycle crash on Hwy. 185 at Goose Creek southeast of Sullivan in Washington County, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 9:30 p.m., Coryea was riding a northbound 1994 Harley-Davidson XL833 and failed to negotiate a curve to the left, and the motorcycle ran off the left edge of the road, overturned and ejected him, the report said.
He was taken by ambulance to Mercy Hospital St. Louis in Creve Coeur, according to the report.
Coryea was wearing a helmet, the patrol reported.
The motorcycle was extensively damaged, the report said.
