A Byrnes Mill man drowned Wednesday (Aug. 11) while swimming at Table Rock Lake in Stone County west of Branson.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that Bradley Bruce, 44, went into the water at 6 p.m. to assist his children, who were swimming in the lake, and he went under and did not resurface.
He was pronounced dead at 6:23 p.m. by the Stone County Coroner’s Office.
He was not wearing a lifejacket, the report said.
