Taryen R. Crump-Tuttle, 51, of Arnold was injured Wednesday (Dec. 16) in a two-vehicle accident on I-55 at Weber Road in St. Louis County, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.

At 11:55 a.m., Crump-Tuttle was driving a 2007 Toyota Camry north on the interstate, where there was standing water on the road, and the car hydroplaned and then spun into the path of a northbound 2008 Chevrolet Tahoe driven by George J. Kaiser, 76 of St. Louis, the report said.

No injuries were reported for Kaiser.

Crump-Tuttle was moderately injured and taken by ambulance to Mercy Hospital South in south St. Louis County, where she was listed in good condition today (Dec. 17), a hospital spokesman said.

Both drivers were wearing seat belts, the patrol reported.

The Camry was extensively damaged, and the Tahoe was moderately damaged, the report said.
