Two Arnold teenagers were hurt in a one-vehicle accident Tuesday afternoon (Aug. 4) on Dutch Bottom Road east of Hickory Hill Road in the Arnold area, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reports.
At 2:15 p.m., Riley J. Adams, 16, of Arnold was driving a 2004 Nissan Murano east on Dutch Bottom, and the SUV ran off the right side of the road, where it struck a pole and then overturned, the report said.
Adams sustained minor injuries, and a passenger in the SUV, Megan E. Brown, 16, of Arnold, sustained moderate injuries, according to the report.
Both were taken by Rock Township Ambulance to St. Anthony’s Medical Center in south St. Louis County, where they were treated and released, a hospital spokesman said this afternoon (Aug. 5).
Each of the teens was wearing a seat belt, the patrol reported.
The car was totaled, the report said.
