An Arnold man and two St. Louis residents were hurt this morning (Feb. 8) in a two-vehicle accident on Old Lemay Ferry Road south of Spring Forest Drive in Imperial, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reports.
At 11:17 a.m., Justin Wolff, 22, of Arnold was driving a 2011 Chevrolet Impala south on Old Lemay Ferry Road and failed to negotiate a curve to the right, which caused the car to travel into oncoming traffic and strike a northbound pickup, the report said.
Galen Nowak, 41, of St. Louis was driving the pickup, a 2007 Ford F150. He sustained minor injuries, and a passenger in the pickup, Autumn Feazel-Nowak, 36, of St. Louis, was moderately injured, the report said.
Feazel-Nowak was taken by Rock Township Ambulance to St. Anthony’s Medical Center in south St. Louis County, and Nowak was taken by private conveyance to St. Anthony’s, where they were both treated and released, a hospital spokesman said this afternoon.
Wolff sustained minor injuries, and emergency medical service personnel checked him out and released him at the scene, the report said.
Wolff and Nowak were wearing seat belts, and it’s unknown if Feazel-Nowak was wearing one, the patrol reported.
The car was totaled, and the pickup was extensively damaged, the report said.
