An Arnold man was seriously injured early Monday morning (July 29) in a one-car accident on Hwy. NN east of Dave’s Lane in Catawissa, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 1:20 a.m., Michael T. Cugley, 25, of Arnold was driving a 2010 Ford Fusion east on the highway, and the car ran off the left side of the road and struck a utility pole, the report said.
Cugley was taken by Big River Ambulance to Mercy Hospital South in south St. Louis County, where he was treated and released, a hospital spokesman said.
He was not wearing his seat belt, the patrol reported.
The car was totaled, the report said.
