Mark E. Bingesser, 57, of Arnold was injured Wednesday morning (April 7) in a two-vehicle accident at Lonedell Road and Le Baron Drive west of Arnold, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 11:36 a.m., Bingesser was driving a westbound 2002 Toyota Highlander, crossed the center line and struck an eastbound 2020 Ford F-150 Raptor head-on, the report said.
Steven W. Kriete, 55, of Pevely was driving the Raptor. No injuries were reported for him.
Bingesser, however, was moderately injured and taken by Rock Township Ambulance to Mercy Hospital South in south St. Louis County, where he was listed in satisfactory condition this afternoon (April 8), a hospital spokesman said.
Bingesser was not wearing a seat belt, and Kriete was wearing one, the patrol reported.
Both vehicles were extensively damaged, the report said.
