A Cedar Hill man was seriously injured Aug. 4 in a single-vehicle traffic accident on Hwy. 30 near Lonedell in southeast Franklin County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that Gary Haverstick, 72, was driving a 2015 Chevrolet Equinox west on Hwy. 30 east of North Hendricks Road at 9:30 a.m. when the Chevrolet slid off the right side of the road and hit an embankment, street sign and culvert.
Haverstick suffered serious injuries and he was taken by St. Clair Ambulance to Mercy Hospital South in south St. Louis County, the report said.
An update on his condition was not available.
Haverstick was wearing a seat belt, the report said. The Chevrolet had extensive damage, according to the report.
