The Lenhard Family Light Show-Halloween Edition kicks off today, Oct. 3, at Larry G. Crites Memorial Park, 2232 Old Hwy. A, Festus. The display features 167,000 lights.
For tonight only, the display runs from 7:45-10 p.m. It will be held from 7:30-10 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 4, and Sunday, Oct. 5, as well as for the rest of its run daily from Oct. 9-31.
The display is set to music on 99.7 FM and runs on a loop.
There is no charge to view the display, but donations are accepted on behalf of the Jefferson County Rescue Mission. For more information, visit the Lenhard Family Light Show page on Facebook or go to festusmo.gov.
The Festus Tourism Commission awarded a grant of $7,808 to the Lenhard family, which puts on the show, for its 2025 Halloween and Christmas light shows at Crites Park.
