Stardust, a tortoiseshell cat, is up for adoption at De Soto Animal Control

Stardust, a friendly tortoiseshell cat, is up for adoption at De Soto Animal Control.

Stardust is a young female tortoiseshell cat available for adoption through De Soto Animal Control.

“She has been with us quite some time and needs a good home,” says code officer Cody Moon. “She is friendly and does not seem to mind the dog I have up there. I would put her age at 6 to 8 months.”

Stardust has her claws and has not been spayed, he said.

To find out how to adopt Stardust or for more information about her, send emails to Moon at codeofficer@desotomo.com, send a personal message to him through the City of De Soto Kennel Facebook page or call him at 636-586-3326, ext. 114.

Marley, the dog featured in the Leader’s Pet Spot feature last week, is “on hold” at the Open Door Animal Sanctuary, which means someone is going through the process of adopting him, staff from that animal shelter reports.

PET SPOT invites readers to tell a story about their pets or nonprofit animal adoption agencies to write about an adoptable pet and submit it, plus an attached photo, to nvrweakly@aol.com. Please include a phone number and city of residence for submissions from individuals and contact information for organizations.
