This is Buddy at 11 months old last summer in the creek at Mastodon State Historic Site in Imperial. He’s 1 1/2 now. He loves water and loves to swim. When we go to Mastodon, he goes into the water. He’ll swim all day.
Buddy is part German shepherd, part boxer. He’s very playful, but he’s not socialized. He doesn’t play well with dogs outside of our other dog, Rocky, a shih tzu.
I like it when we’re watching TV at night and he lies next to me on the couch. He looks just beautiful, especially when he’s sleeping.
We got him from a pound. I’d like to encourage others to get a puppy from a pound.
We love all kinds of animals, but we don’t have any other pets than the dogs. We always get dogs that don’t shed because my husband has allergies.
