Violet Clark of Barnhart said her dog, Romeo, a 14-year-old Yorkshire terrier, recently became a daddy again.
“He’s pretty spry,” Clark said. “He jumps from the couch to the recliner in the living room. He can jump up onto the bed.
“He just sired a litter of baby Yorkies. His name is Romeo and his babies’ mom’s name is Aerial.”
Clark said she named one of the new puppies Juliette Mary Clark.
The Clark home is full of Yorkies.
“We have eight Yorkies right now, three adults and the five puppies,” Clark said. “We enjoy Yorkies. They’re very loyal.”
She said she has enjoyed having Romeo as a pet.
“I think it is so special that we have had him so very long in our lives,” she said.
