Maureen O’Donnell of Cedar Hill took this photo of her dog, Oskar, meeting a bearded dragon two years ago at the home of her daughter, Sara Rich, in Medora, Ill.
Oskar, a shih tzu-pug mix, now 14, did not know what to make of it, O’Donnell said.
“It was my daughter’s bearded dragon,” she said. “I think Oskar was very puzzled about it.”
She said she enjoys this photo.
“His expression is priceless,” she said. “He has no idea what creature it is.”
O’Donnell said Oskar has a sweet personality.
“Oskar is very, very, very gentle,” she said. “He wouldn’t hurt a fly.”
