Onyx, now 3, is shown in a favorite spot at the Jackson home in Festus in a photo taken in October 2017.
“It’s a cat perch or, maybe they call it a cat tree,” Wade Jackson said. “She likes to lay there.”
Onyx is a short-haired tabby.
“We actually found her in a park in Festus, and she was crying,” he said. “No identification. She was a sad little kitten.”
She has becone an affectionate addition to the household, Jackson said.
“We call her a snuggler,” he said. “She’s a loving cat, for sure. She loves to snuggle. She’s turned out to be a very good pet.”
