Tonya McKinnon of Arnold said the photo of Stella that she submitted shows the 5-year-old boxer-pit bull mix during the dog’s No. 1 special occasion.
“Easter is her favorite holiday and she even got her own egg hunt with her favorite treats,” McKinnon said. “This photo is special because Stella is a very well-loved dog who just loves any chance to dress in her favorite holiday bandanas. She’s got bandannas for every season.”
Birds fascinate Stella.
“She is definitely a birdwatching dog,” McKinnon said. “She can sit outside and watch birds forever.”
She said her dog has one other passion in life.
“Her favorite thing is naps,” she said.
McKinnon said Stella has an agreeable temperament.
“She gets along with other pets,” she said. “She gets along with my two horses.”
McKinnon treasures Stella.
“She’s really loved and a little spoiled,” she said.
