Pet Spot: Pinchy rules roost at Daiber home

Pinchy is the boss among three dogs, said owner Susan Daiber of Cedar Hill.

Pinchy, a Chihuahua who is about 8 years old, runs the show among the three dogs at the home of Susan Daiber in Cedar Hill.

“She is a very typical Chihuahua, very bossy,” Daiber said. “She’s pretty bossy with our other two dogs.

“She always gets her way. I was always a big dog person, but she is really entertaining. She rules the roost here.”

Her other two dogs are Bitty and Gene.

She said Pinchy comes out well in pictures.

“She is very photogenic, as you can tell,” Daiber said.

She said she obtained Pinchy from the Advocates for Animals organization in 2017.

“(Pinchy) was her name when we adopted her,” Daiber said.

Pinchy is active when she wants to be, she said.

“She kind of likes to play, but she also sleeps a lot,” Daiber said. “I’ll put a heating pad down with a little blanket. She likes to lay on that. She likes to be warm.”
