Katy Loyd of House Springs said Morty, her nearly 2-year-old Persian cat, just wants to be left alone.
“He is kind of grumpy,” she said. “He’s not really mean. He just doesn’t want to be bothered. He’s only friendly if he’s in the kitchen because he thinks you’re going to feed him.”
In this photo, Morty is shown in one of his favorite spots in the house.
“He likes to sit on the kitchen counter, but he gets yelled at if he sits there,” Loyd said. “He also likes to sit on this couch.”
Loyd said she also has a 4-year-old domestic longhair cat named Scout. The cats generally get along, although one issue comes between them.
“She (Scout) tries to clean him,” Loyd said. “He doesn’t like it.”
