Janet Housemann of Eureka said her 18-month-old cavalier King Charles spaniel, Leo, has some odd eating habits,
“Leo likes to smell everything, eat paper, and if he can, he will devour any cigarette butt in his vicinity,” Housemann said. “Other joys in his puppy life are nosing around, fetching small tennis balls, playing with toy birds and taking walks to meet other dogs and friends in the neighborhood.”
Leo has a terrific personality, she said.
“He is our only pet,” Housemann said. “He’s very sweet. The neighbors just love him.”
