Hurley, a 5-year-old Rottweiler, has a great disposition, said her owner, Lindsey Raby, who shared this recent photo taken at the family’s Arnold home.
“We wanted to share a picture of our sweet girl, Hurley,” Raby said. “That’s her bed, the ottoman in our living room.”
Hurley, at 106 pounds, is sturdy and never seemed to mind giving the family’s young children rides.
“We have three boys and they all liked to ride her like a horse,” Raby said. “Our boys are 14, 11 and 3. Normally, it’s just the 3-year-old that rides her now.”
Raby said Hurley may appear menacing, but she is a loving pet.
“She sounds mean, but she is the sweetest thing ever,” Raby said.
The Rabys are partial to Rottweilers.
“We’ve had Rottweilers before,” Rabu said. “I like the demeanor of Rottweilers. They are used as guard dogs, by they have the sweetest demeanor.”
Hurley’s name came from the family’s favorite clothing brand, Raby said
“It’s like skateboard, surfing clothing,” she said.
