Ashley Black of Barnhart says Winnie the English bulldog is almost always on the move. Yet, the dog sat still while Black took this photo her daughter, Ronyn, holding Winnie by her leash.
“The photo was taken in March (2017),” Black said. “Winnie is a crazy, spunky little dog. She was 5 months old in the picture. She’s short, but she weighs 50 pounds.”
When the photo was taken, Ronyn and Winnie were waiting at the bus stop for Ronyn’s older brother to return home from school.
Winnie is active, Black said.
“She has tons of energy,” she said. “She never stops.”
Despite her rambunctiousness, Winnie has a warm personality, Black said, and her family loves the dog.
“She has to be with her people,” Black said. “She’s a sweetheart.”
