Cameron Klos of Festus said his dogs, Chloe and Sadie, hated to see the family swimming pool close for the season when this photo was taken in the fall of 2016.
“They are looking at the pool,” he said. “We had just closed the pool for the year. They love to swim. They’re (feeling) disappointed in this picture.”
The dogs obviously have no concept of personal space, Klos added.
He said Chloe, a 3-year-old black Lab mix, and Sadie, an 18-month-old golden doodle, are best buddies.
“They’re inseparable,” Klos said. “When they go to the groomer, they have to be in the same cage.”
In the photo, Chloe is taller, but since then, Sadie has grown in leaps and bounds and is now taller than Chloe, he said.
