Faith Townsend of Festus said she recently participated in a horse show with Dallas, the quarter horse she has owned for about a year.
“Dallas and I did our first horse show (in August),” she said. “He did great. He didn’t win. It was just for practice. We didn’t have the right equipment with us. Next time, we will.”
Townsend estimates that Dallas is 22 years old.
“He is stabled at Fox Farms in De Soto,” she said.
Townsend said Dallis can be independent, but overall, he’s a sociable animal.
“He likes being with his buddies in the barn. He does not like to be separated,” she said.
Townsend said Dallas also likes cookies.
