“Every year at Bee Tree Park, behind the mansion, the daffodils bloom,” Rebecca said of the photo.
Cruiser, a golden retriever, died at age 8.
“He was one of the best friends I ever had,” James said. “It was unconditional love. He did whatever you wanted him to do when you wanted.”
Rebecca said Cruiser was an affable pet.
“He was a typical golden retriever,” she said. “He was happy and fun-loving.”
Rebecca said she and her husband adopted Cruiser from Dirk’s Fund Dog Shelter in Pacific and she encourages others to consider adopting rescues when seeking a pet.
