Autumn, a 1-year-old mixed breed, will not be silenced, said owner Amber Simms of Imperial.
“We believe she’s a pit bull and Jack Russell terrier mix,” Simms said. “She is very vocal. She’s always making noises. She’s always talking.”
Wherever Simms goes, Autumn follows.
“She’s my shadow,” she said.
Autumn uses the other pet of the house as a seat, Simms said.
“We have another dog, Delilah, who’s 11, and smaller than Autumn,” she said. “Delilah tolerates Autumn, but Autumn sits on her.”
Simms said Autumn is a rescue pet and she urges others to adopt rescue animals.
“Rescuing a dog is the best thing you can do,” she said. “I absolutely encourage it.”
