Min the cat –formerly known as Menace" – looks anything but menacing as she lounges on a chair at home.

Min, formerly known as Menace, likes to lie around feeling the rays of the sun, her owner says.

Angie Smith of Barnhart said the 6-year-old female domestic shorthair orange tabby was called Menace before she adopted the cat.

“I got her about a year-and-a half ago from a lady who posted her for adoption on the internet,” Smith said. “We call her ‘Min.’ She’s quiet and shy. This photo was taken in January 2017 in our front room, on a chair. She likes to lie in the sun.”

She said Min prefers her to others in the family.

“She favors me,” Smith said. “I have two sons – Kyle, who’s 14, and Luke, who’s 8 – she doesn’t really like them. She likes a quiet household.”

Min gravitates to warm, cozy spots in the house, she said.

“She likes to go inside a table and lie down,” Smith said. “The table sits over a heating vent and it’s warm in there. She has her own fluffy body pillow she lies on every night. She’s pretty spoiled.”
