Jane Brunk Kost of Hillsboro sent in a photo of her husband, Gary Kost, who served in the Army during the Vietnam War.
“He served in Vietnam in 1968-1969 in the 25th Infantry Division, Tropic Lightning in Combined Reconnaissance Intelligence Platoon (CRIP),” she says. “He was an RTO (carried a radio) in Tay Ninh Province. He earned a combat Infantry Badge and a Bronze Star.”
