1 (10-ounce) can of refrigerated, unbaked biscuits

Pizza Stuffing:

3 1/2 ounces sliced pepperoni

3/4 cup finely chopped green peppers

1/2 cup finely chopped onions

1 (2.5-ounce) jar of sliced mushrooms or 1/3 cup fresh sliced mushrooms

1 cup (4 ounces) of grated mozzarella cheese

Pure vegetable oil for frying

Sauce:

1 (8-ounce) can of tomato sauce

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1/2 teaspoon oregano

On a floured surface, roll out biscuit dough into 5- to 6-inch circles. Place pizza stuffing into center of each circle and fold dough over mixture. Press edges of dough together with a floured fork. Deep fry in vegetable oil at 350 degrees for 2-3 minutes. Turn pizzas while frying to acquire even cooking and browning. Drain on absorbent towels.

For the sauce, combine all ingredients in a saucepan. Bring mixture to a boil. Reduce heat and allow to simmer for 10 minutes. The sauce may be poured on top of pizzas, or the pizza may be dipped in sauce. Yields 10 pies.
