The Meramec-Arnold Elks held its 15th annual Halloween Party Wednesday (Oct. 22) for children from the Missouri School for the Blind at the Elks lodge in Imperial.
About 20 children, plus their chaperons, attended the event, which included hay rides, bon fires and hot dogs, chili, cupcakes and soda. Each child also received a large bag filled with goodies.
In addition to the annual Halloween Party, Meramec-Arnold Elks Lodge 2372 members visit the School for the Blind in St. Louis each Christmas season and give the children gifts and provide them with a visit with Santa and pizza and sodas.
