The Jefferson County Health Department has converted its office in High Ridge to a call center for information about the COVID-19 coronavirus.

The Jefferson County Health Department has closed its High Ridge office to the public and has converted it to a call center to provide information about the COVID-19 coronavirus.

Health Department Director Kelley Vollmar said the office, which is at 5684 Hwy. PP, closed Tuesday (March 17).

“At this time, we don’t have a specific date for opening it up to the public again,” she said. “It depends on how this fluid situation evolves.”

Vollmar said anyone who needs information about the coronavirus may call 636-797-3737, ext. 210.

Vollmar said both the Arnold office, 1818 Lonedell Road, and Hillsboro office, 405 Main St., are open.

Communications specialist Brianne Zwiener said all staff and visitors to the Health Department offices are being screened before entering.
