Due to winter storms forecast for the area, the COVID-19 drive-thru testing site in Hillsboro will be closed Wednesday (Feb. 2).
In addition, all three Jefferson County Health Department offices will be closed on Wednesday, due to inclement weather, according to a social media post.
The testing site at the Hillsboro Community Civic Center, 10349 Business 21, is normally open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Wednesdays throughout this month.
The site is run by the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services and all testing sites operated by the department will be closed Wednesday and Thursday (Feb. 3).
As of today (Fab. 1), a total of 50,387 COVID-19 cases have been reported in Jefferson County since the start of the pandemic. The county also has seen a total of 425 COVID-19-related deaths.
