Three Jefferson Countians were hurt in a one-vehicle accident that happened about 5:10 p.m. Monday (July 9) on Cedar Hill Road at Hwy. B in Cedar Hill, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reports.
Sally D. Mankin, 47, of Festus was driving a 2002 Isuzu Trooper west on Cedar Hill Road too fast for the conditions and the SUV ran off the south side of the road, through a ditch and struck a sign before coming to rest on Hwy. B, the report said.
Dayna R. Mankin, 19, of Pevely and Jeremyah D. Stickler, a Pevely infant, were passengers in the vehicle, according to the report.
All three were taken by ambulance to St. Anthony’s Medical Center in St. Louis County.
Sally Mankin was listed in fair condition on Tuesday, and the other two had been treated and released.
They all had been wearing seat belts, the patrol reported.
