Two Imperial women – one 24 and the other 80 – were hurt in a three-vehicle accident at 11:52 a.m. today (March 7) on Hwy. 61-67 at Imperial Main Street, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reports.
Sierra N. Evans, 24, of Imperial was driving south in a 1998 Isuzu Rodeo, and a westbound car, a 2008 Ford Focus, turned into its path, the report said.
After the Rodeo struck the Focus, it struck a third vehicle, a 2011 Ford Focus, according to the report.
Audrey F. Sohn, 80, was driving the 2008 Focus, and Clarice A. Kroeck, 73, of Arnold was driving the 2011, the report said.
Evans received moderate injuries and Sohn minor injuries. Kroeck was not hurt, according to the report.
Evans reportedly was taken by ambulance to St. Anthony’s Medical Center in St. Louis County, and Sohn went there by private vehicle.
Everyone involved in the accident was wearing a seat belt, the patrol reported.
