The Leader YUMMY!

Amidst a smorgasborg of hot wings, meatballs sandwiches, chips and tiny cupcakes, a Leader YUMMY! recipe was the big winner at Peggy Scott's Super Bowl party.

She and daughter, Laura, whipped up Pepperoni and Provel Pizza Dip, the grand prize winner from the Leader's 2002 recipe contest.

"It's always been a favorite at our house, but honestly, we hadn't made the pizza dip for several years," Peggy Scott said.

After a couple of questions about what kind of dip it was, the teens at the party dug in. Adults had to shoo them away to get a taste. Within a few minutes, the dip had been devoured.

Guests were dismayed and demanded that the Scotts provide more Pepperoni and Provel Pizza Dip. Luckily, they had ingredients for a replay.

Here's the recipe, in case you want a touchdown for your next get together.
