Five horse saddles and other items have been stolen from a home in the 3100 block of Saddle Valley Lane in Pacific, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office reports.
The theft happened between 8 p.m. March 31 and 10 a.m. April 1, the report said.
In addition to the saddles, a black Onkyo stereo receiver and a window unit air conditioner were stolen.
Altogether, the items were valued at about $9,900, the report said.
The items were taken from an open barn and an open horse trailer, according to the report.
The victim reported hearing a vehicle on the private drive at about 2 a.m. April 1 but did not investigate, the report said.
As of April 6, no arrests had been made, said Capt. Ron Arnhart of the Sheriff’s Office.
