A victim reported the theft of his Apple iPhone from an unlocked locker June 21 at the 24 Hour Fitness in the Arnold Crossroads shopping center, authorities reported.
Arnold Police Maj. Nick McBroom said his department received a call about the incident around 4 p.m. The 23-year-old Arnold man told officers he put his gym bag containing the phone in an unlocked locker and discovered the phone missing when he returned a short time later.
McBroom advised the public to not leave anything of value in unlocked lockers or unlocked vehicles.
“People often leave items of value in unprotected areas,” he said.
