New eatery coming to Hillsboro

Dennis Culey told the Hillsboro Board of Aldermen at its meeting Monday (May 7) that he’s planning to open a restaurant in the old Post Office building at 250 First St. Culey, a Hillsboro resident, said the Courthouse Grill will cater to the Courthouse Square crowd for lunch and also will be open during the evenings. In addition to hearing Culey’s plans, the board also accepted the resignation of Ward 2 Alderman Scott Watson, approved an engineer to redesign part of Business 21 and modified the city employees’ vacation policy.
