LaVerne E. (Schmidt) Lewis, 85, of Barnhart died Nov. 16, 2012, in Barnhart. Mrs. Lewis was preceded in death by two husbands: Norman Hopson and George Lewis.
Funeral services were held Nov. 19 at Immaculate Conception Church in Arnold, officiated by the Rev. Jack Dempsey. Burial was in the National Cemetery at Jefferson Barracks. Arrangements were under the direction of Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home in Arnold.
