Gene P. Keough, 80, of House Springs was killed in a one-vehicle accident that occurred about 1:35 a.m. today (Sept. 14) on South Byrnesville Road south of Indian Arrow Valley Road in the Byrnesville area, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reports.
Keough was driving a 2007 Dodge Dakota on South Byrnesville Road and ran off the right side of the road, where the pickup struck a utility pole, the patrol said.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Keough was wearing a seat belt, the patrol reported.
