Bonnie I. Stricklin, 47, of High Ridge was hurt in a two-vehicle accident at 7:19 a.m. Tuesday (Dec. 11) on Hwy. 30 at Little Brennan Road in High Ridge, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reports.
She was driving a 2012 Chevrolet Equinox east on Hwy. 30 and failed to stop in time for a car that was stopped on Hwy. 30 at a signal, the report said.
Stricklin attempted to swerve the SUV to the left to avoid the stopped car but struck a curb and then the front of the SUV struck the left side of the stopped car, a 2009 Nissan Rogue, according to the report.
Vlada I. Buck, 32, of Fenton was driving the Rogue.
She was not hurt, the patrol reported.
Stricklin received moderate injuries and was taken by ambulance to St. Anthony’s Medical Center in St. Louis County, the report said.
Both Stricklin and Buck were wearing seat belts, the patrol reported.
