John D. Stiefferman, 55, of Dittmer was hurt in a motorcycle accident that happened about 12:05 p.m. today (April 30) on Hwy. 30 just west of High Ridge Boulevard in High Ridge, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reports.
Stiefferman was driving a 1997 Kawasaki Vulcan east on Hwy. 30 and lost control of the bike as he prepared to make a turn, and then the bike overturned and he was ejected, the report said.
He received moderate injuries and was taken by North Jefferson County Ambulance District to St. Anthony’s Medical Center in St. Louis County, where he was listed in satisfactory condition this afternoon, a hospital spokeswoman said.
Stiefferman was wearing a helmet, the patrol reported.
