Crystal City survey gives thumbs-up to smoking ban

An overwhelming majority of Crystal City residents would support a citywide ban on smoking in workplaces, including bars and restaurants, according to a survey conducted by the Jefferson County Health Department.

The Crystal City Council heard the results of that survey from Cassie Miller of the Health Department at Monday’s meeting (March 26).

At that meeting, the council also approved repairs to a generator, renewed its contract with its law firm and approved a contract for design work for stormwater repairs on Holdinghausen Drive. See the March 29 Jefferson County Leader for more.
