Two women, one from Imperial and the other from Arkansas, were hurt in a two-vehicle accident that happened at 3:10 p.m. Saturday (May 12) on Old Hwy. 21 at Konert Road west of Arnold, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reports.
Kelly A. Nicholas, 20, of Fenton was driving a 2002 Ford F150 south on Konert Road and while attempting to make a left turn onto Old Hwy. 21, pulled into the path of a 2001 Mazda Protégé on northbound Old Hwy. 21, the report said.
Dean G. Lenz, 54, of Imperial was driving the Protégé, according to the report.
Two passengers in Lenz’s car – Beverly J. Lenz, 54, of Imperial, and Cheryl A. Moppin, 56, of Eureka Springs, Ark. – were hurt and taken by ambulance to St. Anthony’s Medical Center, where they were treated and released
All those involved in the accident were wearing seat belts, the report said.
