Coleman, 39, Pevely, gets eight years for Scenic Drive break-in

 

Scott Lee Coleman Sr., 39, of Pevely recently was sentenced to eight years in prison on a burglary charge, according to court records.

On Nov. 24, 2011, he unlawfully entered an auto repair business in the 1800 block of Scenic Drive in Festus for the purpose of stealing, the report said.

Coleman pleaded guilty to the charge and was sentenced Jan. 22 by Jefferson County Div. 2 Circuit Judge Gary P. Kramer.

Jefferson County assistant prosecuting attorney Douglas Pribble handled the case.

Also on Jan. 22, a co-defendant in the case, Craig Michael Manning, was sentenced to five years’ probation, and the other co-defendant, Scotty L. Coleman Jr., was sentenced Jan. 23 to two years’ probation, according to the report.
