Corn chips (plain only corn, oil and salt)

Thawed prepared chili

Grated or thinly sliced cheese (Jack or Colby Jack work well)

Optional toppings: Chopped raw onions, shredded lettuce, chopped tomato, sour cream, sliced avocado

In a plate or bowl, place a thin layer of corn chips.

Spoon in a topping of thawed chili.

Microwave for 60 seconds.

Add a layer of cheese.

Microwave for 60 seconds or until cheese melts.

If you are preparing chili chips for more than two, you may want to preheat the chili to very hot so that added cheese will melt without microwaving.

Top with your favorite ingredients.
