David M. Leija, 39, of Cedar Hill was hurt in a collision with a mail truck at 2:35 p.m. Thursday (Nov. 1) on Moss Hollow Road north of Potts Road in Barnhart, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reports.
Leija was driving a 1987 Dodge Omni south on Moss Hollow and traveled into the path of the northbound mail truck, the report said.
The front left side of the car struck the front left of the mail truck, a 1988 GMC Conventional, according to the report.
Deborah R. Allison, 55, of High Ridge was driving the truck.
She was not injured, the report said.
Leija received moderate injuries and was taken by ambulance to St. Anthony’s Medical Center in St. Louis County, where he was listed in satisfactory condition this morning (Nov. 2).
Both were wearing seat belts, the patrol reported.
