Gary C. Wright, 74, of Hillsboro entered the Navy at age 18 and served four years. He was a plank owner on the aircraft carrier USS John F. Kennedy and served as an electrician in the catapult and elevator shop.
Robin C. Wright entered the US Air Force Academy at 18 and graduated in 1996. He served six years, coaching football and serving as the recruiting coordinator. Now 48, he lives in Monument, Colo.
Sean Karpowicz, 29, joined the U.S. Marine Corps at age 19, serving from 2011 to 2016. He now lives in South Carolina.
Whitney Jade Wright, 20, of Monument, Colo., has served in the Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) for two years. She was promoted in August from cadet captain to cadet major.
