Festus junior Carson Driemeier set the school record in the 3,200-meter run with a time of 8:59.27 at the Arcadia Invitational on April 12 in Arcadia, Calif. The former record of 9:04 was held by Drew White, who set it at Arcadia in 2012. In the last year, Driemeier won the 3,200 state championship in Class 4 and won the Class 4 state cross country title.
